- I've been teaching science at
Miller Jr. High for 17 years. Many call me a "fishing bum" who
only teaches to support his fishing habit. I'd be lying if there
wasn't some truth to that statement but the fact is, I do enjoy
teaching a great deal. I've built some great friendships over the
years.
- I grew up in Tumwater, got my
teaching degree from Oregon State University
- (Go Beaves!!!) and did my master's
degree from City University in Seattle.
- Most of my free time is spent
outdoors.........lot's of fishing (salmon & steelhead)
year-around.
- Having a little fun in the
driftboat
- Here's what it's all
about!!!!
-
- Wonder what this is?........look at
the bottom of the page and you'll see me standing against the
outside of it.
-
-
-
- riding dirtbikes in the spring and
summer (woods riding, poker runs and enduros mainly) and other
various activities ranging from photography to snow skiing to clam
digging to camping to.......well, you get the idea!
-
- Friends I ride with
-
- Some E. Washington scenery around
Wenatchee.
-
- Your's truly posing with Mt Rainier
in the background
- One of the viewpoints on a ride we
did down by Mt. St. Helens
- Good times and good
friends!
-
- Hang'in out for a minute with
extreme sports superstar Travis Pastrana during the 07' Olympus
Rally
-
- Do you see any wildlife in the
photo?
- Here they are! A mother mountain
goat and her calf. What a pleasant surprise.
-
- The picture near the top of the
page is the inside of this tree......One of the largest Western
Red Cedars in the world up at Lake Quinalt. As near as I could
tell the tree is no longer living but it will remain standing for
another 50-100 years..........a testament to the resistance of
cedar to rot and decay! That's why you see it on so many
roofs.
