After some technical difficulties, the website is up and running. Below are some pics of the kids first lab this year. We introduced the idea of doing experiments in an organized, reliable fashion. There are series of steps you used called the scientific method. We talked about the idea of variables,and hypotheses. To give them some practice at identifying these ideas, we set up a simple lab involving the ability of coins to hold drops of water, how many paperclips a FULL cup of water could hold without spilling and the effect of different liquids on these outcomes.
